Calling all leathercraft enthusiasts! We're excited to share a free leather pattern for a rugged and spacious Long Biker Chain Wallet. Designed for motorcycle riders and anyone who loves edgy accessories, this wallet offers generous storage, a secure buckle closure, and the option to attach a chain connector for wearing with pants.

This Long Biker Chain Wallet measures 200mm x 100mm x 60mm (7.87 in x 3.94 in x 2.36 in). It features 6 card slots for organized card storage, 4 bill compartments for cash and receipts, one main compartment with a buckle closure for secure keeping, and an optional chain connector to attach a pants chain.

The bold biker aesthetic combines rugged stitching with clean lines. The front buckle adds a classic motorcycle touch while keeping your valuables secure. The optional chain connector lets you customize the look - wear it as a traditional wallet or attach a chain for a statement accessory. Double-needle stitching throughout ensures durability.

The wallet is thoughtfully organized: 6 card slots across two sides accommodate credit cards, IDs, and business cards. Behind them, 4 bill compartments provide ample space for folded cash, receipts, and travel documents. The center compartment with buckle closure can hold coins, keys, or a phone. Despite its generous capacity, the slim profile fits easily into a jacket or back pocket.
This pattern works beautifully with various leather types - try full-grain cowhide for a classic durable finish, oily pull-up leather for a vintage look, or distressed leather to enhance the biker vibe. Customize the hardware: a silver or antique brass buckle, a stainless steel chain connector, or contrasting stitching colors.

To complete this project, you'll need: 2-3 sq ft of 2.0-2.5mm vegetable-tanned leather (or preferred leather type), one buckle (approximately 25-30mm), chain connector hardware (optional), polyester or linen thread (0.8mm recommended), edge beveler, burnishing gum, and edge slicker, stitching irons or pricking irons (4mm spacing), two harness needles, and contact cement or rubber cement.
